Amanda Hardenbrook, Life Transition Coach
Amanda Hardenbrook
Amanda may be a therapist, but she's also a decidedly artsy personality. Not only does she make jewelry, but she volunteers with the Contemporary Art Museum and the Carolina Ballet. Prior to becoming a counselor, she worked in education and outreach for the Boston Ballet, The American Dance Festival, and The Weatherspoon Art Museum.
Amanda says she loves to empower people to pursue their dreams. Through her work as a counselor, she has helped numerous people transition through difficult experiences toward a new life. This includes 3 years working with domestic violence offenders and 1 year working with domestic violence victims. She has also spent 2-1/2 years working with families, children and teens.
If that's not eclectic enough for you, take a look at Amanda's academic background. She received a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Smith College in 1993, followed by a North Carolina Certification to teach art to kids from Kindergarten to 12th grade from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro in 1996. Then, in 2003, she received her Masters degree in Community Counseling, also from UNC-Greensboro.
In 2004, Amanda became a Nationally Certified Counselor, and in 2006, she became a Licensed Professional Counselor. As a Life Transition Coach for Rosen, she brings all of this diverse experience and training to the table when helping couples and families to cope with the aftermath of a divorce.
People call Amanda "fun, creative, and caring." Does the term "well-rounded" come to mind?
