Annie Greer, Life Story

“They will help you see the light.”

56-year-old Annie Greer remarried after the death of her husband of many years. Her second marriage was not a happy one, but Annie says that she was brought up “in the old world, one in which a wife sticks by her spouse and works hard to make the marriage work.”

Two years into the marriage, however, Annie realized that separation was inevitable because, in spite of her efforts, things were growing worse every day. She explains, “I left my husband because of his drinking problem. He was also abusive.”

After deciding to separate, Annie looked for an experienced divorce attorney. She relates that she was intimidated about meeting with an attorney. After telling her husband of her plans to seek legal advice, she remembers that he laughed in her face. “He said I was chicken,” she says, “but I did it.”

Annie had been referred to the Rosen Law Firm, and in her meetings with her Rosen attorney, she gained the knowledge and understanding that she needed to move forward. She says that “as a woman who did not know where to turn,” the Rosen Law Firm was her answer.

“I would recommend the Rosen Law Firm to any woman,” she continues. “They will help you see your situation, they will bring out the answers you need, they will ask you questions, and [they will] help you see the light.”

Rosen prepared Annie’s separation agreement. There were no children from her current marriage, but there were property distribution issues.

“The Rosen Law Firm has helped me and brought me out of despair,” Annie says. “They are positive and are the best. The Rosen Law Firm has helped me see the light, and I now see a much brighter future.”
