Chesh has one of the most varied career paths of anyone we’ve ever worked with. From child and elderly care to retail to farmwork and garden care to customer service, they’ve nearly done it all. Though each of these jobs sound very different, one big connection is that all of them required empathy and a positive, can-do attitude to get the job done.
In their last role before coming to Rosen, Chesh worked at a vet clinic aiding pets and their parents. One time they managed to get an emergency ultrasound scheduled several hours away for a dog that desperately needed it. Their role also included them having to be the “bad news breaker” when it came to updating clients on issues with their pets’ well-being. This experience helped make them exceptional at aiding clients through every emotional step that comes with issues involving family law and why we make them one of the first points of contact when you speak with us.
They also are just as decorated in their accolades from their time in school. Chesh is a member of several different honor societies, including Phi Eta Sigma, PsiChi, Dolva Slova, and Theta Alpha Kapa. They They also received several academic scholarships and had the unique experience of creating lecture PowerPoints for one of their professors, putting together beautiful presentations on everything from lighthouses to Anne Frank.
When Chesh isn’t at our office taking care of our clients, they are letting their imagination run wild. They are love crotchet, cross-stitch, sewing, and knitting, with their current project being a small army of chickens they are crafting. They also love reading sci-fi, fantasy, and romance, with Tamora Pierce novels and Frank Herbert’s Dune series being some of their favorites. They take this passion even further by watching Actual Play TTRPGs like Dimension 20 and Critical Role and occasionally engaging in a campaign or two themselves (without the cameras rolling).
