If there were a picture next to the word “diligent” in the dictionary, it would probably have Kinsey’s picture next to it. A President’s award recipient and member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society, Kinsey has a long list of accomplishments under her wing. She interned with Judge Bill Fairley and Jason Disbrow in Brunswick County and sat in on Juvenile Court proceedings with the 11th Judicial Circuit Family Solicitor while in school (and that was just for her undergraduate degree – take that, law school).
Kinsey also has plentiful experience with caring for those who can’t take care of themselves. She volunteered with an animal shelter in Columbia, SC where she trained dogs in basic obedience in order to help them get adopted. She also worked as a nanny, taking care of a 6 and 8-year old for nearly a year.
Keeping in line with her nurturing nature, Kinsey loves to bake. There is always something coking in her oven and she cites her Kitchenaid mixer as one of her most prized possessions. While making sweet treats, she also enjoys listening to podcasts on true crime or watching shows on the topic.
We brought Kinsey onto our team not just because of all of her above achievements, but ultimately because of who she is – she has the ability to make people feel comfortable after just meeting them and is always happy to give them an ear to vent to. She describes herself as a personal cheerleader for anyone going through struggle or hardship, and we definitely agree. These are just a few of the many reasons we’ve made sure she is one of the first faces you’ll see when you visit our office in Raleigh.
