Mark Perry, Life Story

“The Rosen Law Firm’s vast knowledge, experience and ethical behavior were invaluable benefits to my situation.”

Mark Perry, a 47-year-old man with 16 and 11-year-old daughters, sought representation from the Rosen Law Firm after his wife made false accusations about him to the police. Opening the door to find a uniformed officer, he says, “I was taken completely off-guard. Needless to say, I was in a very emotional state.”

Fortunately, the man sought advice from his neighbor, a friend and licensed psychotherapist. He advised the distraught father that he needed a lawyer and recommended Lee Rosen as an attorney of exceptional skill and character.

“The next morning, I called the Rosen Law Firm and was treated with a combination of professionalism and compassion. An appointment was made for me to speak with Lee Rosen within 24 hours, and during those 24 hours, (Client Relationship Manager) Ms. Dexter England checked in with me a couple of times to make sure I was all right. I was treated both as a client and as a human being.”

After meeting with Lee Rosen, he recounts, “Lee listened to me; he said that he had seen situations like mine. His calm and professional manner, as well as that of the rest of his firm, was critical to the quick and fair resolution of an emotionally charged situation.”

Mark and his wife had irreconcilable differences, and through counseling, both had agreed to a trial separation, with their two daughters remaining with their father. Perry’s long term hope was for an equitable distribution of assets and his retaining custody of his children. It soon became evident however that with the personalities of the husband and wife, mediation was an inadequate vehicle for a fair and equitable settlement.

Explaining this to Rosen, Lee advised formalizing the marriage counselor-based separation agreement, closing loopholes, and adding future protection in the event of life changes.

The agreement covered fine points such as equal responsibility for medical insurance for the man’s daughters. “If I had not had Rosen’s representation, I might not have inserted this very important condition.”

He says, “Lee and his staff were absolutely great. First they listened to me; they understood my priorities. Second, they wrote things up to protect our kids and myself—not just for now but in the event of future changes.

The now-divorced husband appreciates Rosen’s keen oversight, and he also appreciates the flat fee that he was quoted. He knew from the beginning what working with the Rosen Law Firm would cost him, and he felt it was fair.

“In the end, I have the agreement I wanted. The Rosen Law Firm’s vast knowledge, experience and ethical behavior were invaluable benefits to my situation.”
